Get License Fast Limited acts as an agent

All courses booked with Getlicensefast are under the provision that you understand you are forming a contract between yourself and the instructor, in regards to delivery of the course and its hours. The instructor is a self-employed franchisee of Getlicensefast . Any disputes, claim or discussion, regarding tuition, course hours or any other issues should therefore be taken up with the instructor . The company cannot be held liable for any compensation claim from either instructor or student, nor can it be held responsible for any traffic law violation on the part of either instructor or the student. Driving Course Fee include, where applicable, theory test fee, practical test fee, booking and administration fees.

Driving Lessons

It is the student’s responsibility to notify Getlicensefast and your Driving Instructor of the following when making a booking:-

Your driver number

Theory pass certificate number and date passed (if applicable)

Your Home Address and your pick up address (if different from home address)

Possible availability dates and time

Any medical conditions which could effect driving lessons

Getlicensefast will not be held responsible for a pupil not providing any relevant information that could affect either the driving course or driving test.

Payment should be made by paying the deposit of £100 to Getlicensefast when booking the course.
The remainder of the payment must be made in full once we have found a suitable Driving Instructor for your course.
Getlicensefast will accept Payment by Paypal (no account needed) Or by Bank transfer.

The deposit will be deducted from the overall driving course fee and is non-refundable unless:

Getlicensefast is unable to secure a practical driving test that meets your reasonable requirements within 2 weeks from the day after receipt of your Details Form ; or

Getlicensefast is unable to secure a driving instructor to carry out your course hours within 2 weeks from the day after receipt of your Details Form.

Payment can be made online or over the phone using all major debit and credit cards.

Eyesight - Your eyesight must be up to standard. If you are unable to read a number plate from the required distance, the instructor may refuse to allow you to drive.

Lessons You must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence and present it to your Driving Instructor at the start of your first lesson. In making this booking, you confirm that you do hold a valid provisional driving licence.

You have six months after booking the driving course to start your driving lessons unless it is agreed otherwise between you and Getlicensefast .

If an agreement is not made between you and Getlicensefast and your driving lessons are not started within this six month period you will lose your deposit, in addition to Getlicensefast administration fee.

Any arrangements for the driving lessons, including the start time and start location, shall be agreed between you and the Driving Instructor directly.

Where the instructor may arrive late for a lesson due to circumstances beyond his/her control, the instructor will make efforts to extend the ‘finish' time of the lesson by the same amount of time or add the time on to the following session. If you do not turn up for a driving lesson the Driving Instructor will be entitled to keep the full tuition fee of the missed lesson. If a pupil cancels a driving lesson at short notice (less than 48 hours), the lesson is still chargeable and the hours will be deducted from the balance of the course.
The total driving course time includes any breaks that the Driving Instructor may feel is necessary for the safety of both you and the Driving Instructor. Any lessons booked in your name cannot be transferred or sold to a third party

Driving Instructors

All Driving Instructors are fully qualified approved by the DVSA.

The Driving Instructor may refuse to proceed with a driving lesson if you use abusive language or threatening behaviour or if you fail to act on any reasonable request made by the Driving Instructor or if the Driving Instructor reasonably believes that you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs at any time during the lesson.

Use of Personal Data

Any personal data provided to Getlicensefast by you will be held and processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will be used as follows:

to arrange for a Driving Instructor to contact you regarding lessons and to arrange for a Test or Tests; to process your payment for the Tuition Fees and the Test fees;

to contact you as may be necessary concerning your tuition and to keep you informed of products and services which Getlicensefast can make available to you

and Getlicensefast will only give your personal information to other third parties where the law either requires or allows Getlicensefast to do so.

If you have booked your own Test, in order for Getlicensefast to manage your Test booking, Getlicensefast will log in to the DVSA website using your details as provided by you to Getlicensefast , and Getlicensefast will alter the contact email address to be that of Getlicensefast so that Getlicensefast receives notifications from the DVSA. You consent to Getlicensefast doing this to manage your Test booking(s). Getlicensefast will contact you should any DVSA notifications be received.

Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law.

Your right to a cancellation period. You have the right to cancel this contract up to 14 days after the day you submit your booking to Getlicensefast . To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform Getlicensefast of your decision to cancel as specified in the Terms and Conditions. Your right to this cancellation period means that Getlicensefast will not start work (e.g. book a practical driving test or a Driving Instructor) until the 14 day cancellation period has passed unless you clearly indicate that you wish to waive your right to the 14 day cancellation period.

By booking with us, you are instructing GetLicenseFast to commence work before the 14 day cancellation period has passed, and therefore waiving your right to cancel in that time.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on this website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
